The JVC GY-HC500U is a professional UHD 4K camcorder built around a 1-inch CMOS sensor, delivering high sensitivity and a wide dynamic range for demanding production environments. Its integrated 20x optical zoom lens with three manual control rings provides precise command over focus, iris, and zoom, while the 40x lossless dynamic zoom extends your reach without sacrificing image quality.

Designed for modern hybrid workflows, this camera captures 10-bit ProRes 422 at 4K 60p to an optional SSD while simultaneously recording 4:2:0 8-bit 4K to dual SD card slots. Advanced IP connectivity enables high-quality 1080p live streaming with SRT protocol support, auto FTP for seamless file transfer, and return video with IFB, making it a versatile tool for broadcast, sports, and live event production.

Can this camcorder live stream over Wi-Fi?

It can stream over Wi-Fi when equipped with the optional JVC HD65U Wi-Fi adapter. Wired streaming is supported natively via the LAN terminal.

What recording formats are supported?
